Came here without a reservation on Thursday night at around 6pm and was able to be seated right away. However it filled up quickly so I’d recommend making a reservation.
Absolutely a gem of a place. Server Marco was very friendly and accommodating for me to switch out the carb in my dish to more veggies.
We had the gem salad and the balance of the dressing was on point and enjoyed the anchovies, which they did not skimp on. Octopus was tender and my sea bass cooked to perfection. I am in love with the sauce it came with, so yummy! My friend raved about her ink squid pasta dish.
Will definitely return.
Also super nice atmosphere — feels warm and modern, with a nice bar to the side and plenty of outdoor seating as well.

I love this restaurant! The service is always excellent, and the staff creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, and their menu offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
I find myself coming back here multiple times a week because I simply can’t resist. I highly recommend checking it out!
I can’t stress this enough, but I love Doppio and can’t wait to go back!! From the service to the food! It’s definitely a casual laid back vibe that’s perfect to catch up with friends or date night. The menu has great small plates, pizza and pasta. Plus cocktails and wine!
My favorites included the burrata (don’t get me started on the truffle honey drizzle) and la carne pizza. I also really enjoyed the espresso martini (no on the menu). The staff was super attentive and even management checked in. Prices are definitely a little steeper but so so worth it!

Fantastic food, outstanding service, very nice environment, reasonable prices (compared to similar restaurants in the Bay Area). Julia was simply outstanding in taking care of us, monitoring every aspect of our order and making sure everything arrived on time.
For example, this was the first time EVER (in ANY restaurant) that I ordered a glass of wine when my entree arrived, and the wine was on my table after just a few bites – I usually get it at least halfway through my entree, sometimes even later.
Everything we tried was excellent, but for me the fettuccini short ribs was the best, with the margherita pizza a close second (reminded me of some of the best pizzas one can get in New York City). We are definitely going back soon!..
