Love this restaurant! Whether you want a delicious dinner or come in for an amazing brunch, you can’t go wrong! The halibut is to die for, it’s the best I have ever had! I also could not get over the truffle gnocchi… tasted like pillows of heaven! I also love the brunch, it’s so relaxed and the food is amazing. A hidden gem in industrial San Carlos!

I highly recommend checking out Grapes and Giggles the monthly comedy event. It’s so much fun and you can order light bites and drinks throughout. I always look forward to going and the comedians are awesome!

This was my first time at Osteria though I’d been at a holiday party at Domenica. Osteria seems to mostly be meant for sipping and eating outdoors. Though we were seated at a high table inside.

Jesus was attentive and helpful server who checked on us regularly but not too much to make us feel rushed.

We ordered the half order of their cheese board, then tried the Regina with gluten free crust and the Grilled Peach with regular. We knew we’d be taking some home. As it was a lot of food for just two of us.

The grilled peach was good. The flavor combinations worked though the pancetta seemed just a bit too salty for me.

The Regina on their gluten free crust was very good. I liked the crispiness of the crust and the toppings and sauce were good.

The stuffed donut holes at the end had me over the top stuffed and we each took three slices of pizza home.

Very friendly service and a beautiful place to eat. My sister got married at the winery portion in September so we decided to try out the restaurant today.

We got the chowder, deviled eggs, truffle pizza, chicken picada, and godfather pizza. Everyone enjoyed their food, they’re also dog friendly which is a plus.

10 STARS FOR KELLY!! This is for the wine tasting part for Domenico Winery! Was amazing and Kelly’s service was even better!

Walked in and was empty sat at bar and was immediately offered menu and lots of suggestions on the wine tasting!

Totally loved the wines and end up having dinner and joining the wine club and met some really cool people!

Great vibes, delicious food and amazing people! Highly recommended!!

We came back here to celebrate “Intonational Wine Day” (if you know what that is ). Because this is our favorite place for wine tasting for sure. A year ago we came here for the first time. We enjoyed it so much and my friend joined their membership right on the spot.

Today we happened to be sitting at the same spot. And reliving those great memories. It’s a sunny day but a bit windy. The fireplace makes everything look amazing and super cozy.

We ordered crab deviled eggs, fresh burrata, pizza, and swordfish. Everything is great. My favorite thing today is the fresh burrata, super creamy with the orange zest flavor in it. Put everything on a piece of perfectly crunchy bread, It’s sooooo good! Highly recommend!

The service is very attentive.

We had a blast. Can’t wait to go back again already.

Absolutely love Osteria at Domenico’s!

You can never go wrong here, the pizzas are delicious, the brunch is fantastic and the service is really great!

I love getting a table by the fire pit, it is very cozy and the vibe is really good here. Plus you can bring your pup. Parking seems a little tricky, but they also have extra parking down the street on industrial.

What an excellent experience we had! Food was outstanding, and service was A+! Derek, our server was incredibly helpful with great advice, and so personable. Prices were reasonable and the food was plentiful.

We will definitely go back again soon. Thank you!

A great spot in San Carlos that you’ll miss if you’re driving too fast on Industrial Road. Ive been here a few times and always enjoyed the wine and food. The service has always been good too. This time we ordered a charcuterie board, wine and pizza.

There’s both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is limited but more is available further away from their location.

Charcuterie board with everything.

Domenico provided all the elements you want in a great dining experience- Attentive Service, Tasty Food, and Comfortable Ambiance. My first time I was seated outdoors on a chilly January evening.

Despite the weather I was able to take off my heavy coat since I was cozy and comfy under the ample outdoor heaters. Second time I dined for brunch indoors and it was just as good.

Please don’t waste anymore time wondering if you should check this place out, just go! You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful venue and food. The staff were wonderful. Can’t wait to visit again. Hoping next year is equally as nice.

A great experience! We visited Domenico Winery on a Sunday afternoon and my friend and I were seated right away on the (heated, dog friendly) front patio. They had indoor seating as well, but the ambiance was more vibey outdoors.

The location itself surprised me – right in the middle of a very industrial area, surrounded by warehouses and some offices. The restaurant’s small parking lot was entirely full, so we ended up parking down the street.

My friend and I both decided to start with wine flights. Our server Tony brought us a menu in the form of a checklist, where we marked down the four wines we wanted to include. The flight was served on a wooden board with little beakers of wine and one wine glass that you actually drink from – so cute!

For food, we ordered a bunch of small plates to share – Crab Deviled Eggs (delicious, small portion size), Burrata (my favorite, amazing combo of balsamic and honey drizzle), Shaved Brussels Sprouts (good but I wish they were crispier), and Truffle Mac and Cheese (incredibly rich and tasty).

Overall, I was impressed by the food and wanted to taste the whole menu.

After this, I ordered a glass of the 2018 Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon, which was my favorite of the flight. I ended up purchasing this bottle to take home – the winery Yelp page had a check-in offer for 15% off wine bottles to-go!

We also couldn’t resist taking a look at the dessert menu, and ordered the Mango Panna Cotta to share, which was absolutely delicious. Would happily return for more food and wine!

I love this place! Why has it taken me so long to review it?

After one visit, we enjoyed the wine, food, staff and relaxed vibe so much, we joined the wine club. With a minimal quarterly purchase of two bottles of their well-priced and tasty wines, and the benefit of a tasting flight for four with each osteria or winery visit, it seemed a good value.

Since that first visit we’ve literally come here more times than I can remember over the last two years. We’ve never had a poor meal or even a “meh” meal. Each time we attempt to order something we haven’t had before just to expand our experience. It’s difficult, too, because we love so many items and want to order the same things.

Our fave thing to do in spite of the many delicious entrees we’ve had, from a truffled Waygu burger to grilled swordfish, wild mushroom gnocchi, pumpkin ravioli and numerous pizzas, is bring friends and order up a pile of appetizers and a pizza to share.

We’ve had nearly every appetizer, except maybe the shishito peppers. Bring on the truffled mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, deviled eggs and iceberg wedge. All a delight with tweaks for seasonal items as the calendar rolls. (Now there’s a grilled artichoke on the appetizer menu.)

Last night was no different. We had a pizza from the white pie list, chicken pesto pizza which I really liked (and didn’t sound that great to me but I changed my tune with one bite), calamari fritti and “Jersey Shore” lump blue crab cakes on a bed of arugula with chili aioli.

We chased our dinner with three different desserts. Two of us were feeling full already and only indulged in gelato. My friend had their vanilla gelato with chocolate sauce, I had an affogato and the hubs thoroughly enjoyed his apple torta with a shortbread crust.

No charge for our glasses of wine which we ordered instead of the tasting flights, as our membership gives us that option.

Much more outdoor than indoor seating. Go knowing you’ll most likely be outside and there’s a wind issue. They mitigate it with MANY patio and overhead heaters, but still dress in layers just in case. I hate to be cold when I’m eating (I hate to be cold anytime, really) and in spite of sometimes inhospitable weather, I’ve always been comfortable.

Make a reservation, Thursday, Friday and Saturday can rock in there unless you’re early. Certainly reserve for their Friday lunch and Sunday brunch (which we haven’t tried but is well reputed and looks amazing).

Seriously, go and support this small, family owned winery and osteria. It’s a very special place.

I came here on a Friday night with a girl friend but didn’t think to make a reservation since their website said the tasting room accepts walk-ins. However, unfortunately for me, there was a fundraising event going on that night with the local high school in the event area so it was a lot busier than usual. Luckily, the manager was able to squeeze us in on at a table on the patio which was perfect because it was such a nice day out.

This place has such a cool and fun vibe! The aesthetic appeal is a 10/10. The indoor space is so chic and modern, with a lot of high top tables and bar seating on both sides of the room (one facing the bar and the other facing the kitchen). The outdoor patio is covered but also has heat lamps at every table and a fire pit lounging section as well.

We order the French fries with truffle aioli, the full charcuterie board, and the wine flight for 2. The food we ordered was great but I wish we were hungrier because their menu looked AMAZING. They also carried a large selection of white and red wines so it was fun getting to try out the flight with my friend. The flights were really cute too because they came in mini beakers for you to pour into your glasses. Will definitely be coming back!

My family and I really enjoyed this winery. They have great red wines, calamari, and burgers. We ordered the pasta and the noodles were over cooked. Pizza is amazing and has a nice crust, we added extra toppings as well. We also enjoyed their salads. I will definitely come back to enjoy their wine selection.

I’m not much of a wine drinker or by any means a Oenophile. Give me a tropical fruity cocktail or some Japanese whisky and I’m one happy camper!

My first time having a meal at Domenico Winery and what a great place in San Carlos for some delicious Italian food. The Shrimp d Avola was amazing and had lots of flavors filled garlic and wine. Very hearty!

Ribeye- juicy and flavorful steak

Meatballs- very hearty and well cooked

Don’t ask me what glass of wine would go well with this food!

Great service and relaxing atmosphere. Lots of parking.

Had a fantastic dinner at Domenico tonight with excellent service from Derek. We are wine club members and enjoy the tasting when we come, and appreciated how Derek checked in to make sure we were happy throughout our meal. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Made reservations for 2 on a Saturday afternoon. Domenico was super cute and the staff were all so kind. Our server was very helpful when my friend and I were trying to figure out what to order and the wine tasting options. For starters, we ordered the half charcuterie board.

We both ordered the individual wine tasting (came with 4 – which it plenty). For the entrée, we ordered a pizza to share. It was totally enough for two people, we ended up getting a to-go box. And of course, we had to get dessert; ordered a slice of cheesecake for myself and my friend ordered the apple torta.

I would 100% come back again. Such a great experience and the food was awesome.

Why have I not been here yet?!

Wow! Loved everything I ordered. Looking at their website, you could have your wedding here! Such a beautiful venue, up to 200 guests. They have catering, excellent for corporate or private events. Also, there are wine tastings and tasting events and they also have annual courses you can take to create your own wines!

Lovely winery and restaurant tucked away in the San Carlos industrial outer area but the ambiance is all the feels of being in wine country. This is an excellent venue for groups, large and small.

The restaurant, The Osteria at Domenico Winery, makes homemade focaccia daily! It’s fantastic, buttery, warm right out of the hearth oven! You can taste the lovely sun drenched hills of the Italian countryside in the grape tomatoes adorning the bread.

The olive oil, is family homemade and is amazing and one of the best I’ve had in recent years. Excellent for dipping the focaccia bread. I’m a huge olive oil fan and my main kitchen staple. I only cook with EVOO. Hi You can buy their olive oil at the restaurant.

I love swordfish which is the entree search that lead me to Domenico’s. Their hearty swordfish entree with cannellini bean ragout and two massive chunks of pork belly is hands down delicious. I really was impressed with the creativity of this entree, very unexpected to my delight. I also ordered for my friend, the wild mushroom stuffed gnocchi which is very creamy and shroomy (in a shroom lovers good way) not your typical gnocchi dish, another homemade delicious entree.

The grand finale, the cannoli. Wow, homemade freshness abound and super creamy! There’s nothing processed in this dessert. The sweet ricotta filling is perfectly paired to the homemade light, crispy shell and beautifully presented, as all the dishes were, even though my order was DoorDashed. That’s speaks volumes to the caliber of care this establishment takes to deliver goodness regardless of where you’re located, in house or at home. They have quite an extensive dessert menu, too.

Please seek out this little taste of vineyard countryside for your next dining experience, dining single or with others, it will definitely be memorable. There’s lots of happiness and love in all their creations. I would like to try one of their homemade pizzas next time! Cheers!

My friends and I have turned dinner at Osteria into a monthly tradition. Delicious food, great wine pairings, perfect starters and desserts. We’re also loving the Giggles Night. Well worth a visit.
