Homes in San Carlos are in the mid-price range for the Peninsula. It’s been a long sought after community to live in due to its overall well performing school system, but still not as expensive as areas like Palo Alto or Menlo Park.
Home sizes and craftsmanship can vary greatly by neighborhood as well as price. As of 2022, home values ranged from $850,000 for a small condo to $5,650,000 for a large detached home. The medium and average sale price are both around $2,500,000 with the average home size of approximately 1,850 SqFt.
