Blind Tasting Restaurant’s Redwood burl slabs created rustic, cozy, dimly-lit den offers unpretentious atmosphere, perfect for an intimate gathering or a spontaneous afterwork drink.

I found this gem while on a business trip to the Bay Area. I was greeted by “Kadir,” a very charming and pleasant host, not sure if he is the owner or one of the owners? Nevertheless, he tended to me immediately.

I started with the sparkling wine flight which was delicious. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Sliders, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service and food were all terrific. I had the best experience here and I highly recommend this restaurant.

They have a great menu with a variety of foods but not overdone. I feel they are focusing on quality over quantity, but there is something for everyone.

The interior is really welcoming and chill with a few big screen TV’s. I chose their outdoor seating as it was a beautiful afternoon.

I will return for one more delicious meal before I head home! Thank you Kadir!

My friends and I have a standing weekly lunch and lately have been trying new places.

Really enjoyed our lunch here – nice wines by the glass, artichoke beignets, tacos and Caesar salad.

The lovely Anna took good care of us and took the extra effort to make sure I got anchovies for my salad. We’ll be back.

This place had been on my list for a while now and it was worth the wait.

I am always down when the plans include wine and beer flights. They have a good selection and beer actually. They also have a great ambiance and outstanding service.

I had a delicious Skirt Steak while I enjoyed wine and beer flights, it was just amazing! For dessert, I tried their Classic New York Cheesecake, absolutely delicious.

I will definitely go back and try more things off the menu. This is my new favorite place in San Carlos. If you haven’t already you definitely need to put this place on your list to check out!

Came last night for a first date and LOVED our experience.

We decided to sit indoors and the interior is gorgeous. Our server, who seemed to be in charge, was attentive but not overbearing. Service was fantastic and my date and I decided to do wine and a few small plates to share.

We had the ahi tuna, ceviche and artichoke small plate, each came beautifully presented and delicious.

Wine selection was ample and while I wished for a few more options, I was pleased with the Patz and Hall Pinot Noir. I will definitely be back!

Was in the area and in need of some food.

Naturally, I Yelped and Blind Tasting Wine and Beer Bar came up. I mean, how can you go wrong with a beer bar?! I was able to sit inside at the bar and the bartender was attentive and offered suggestions.

I was surprised at the menu! I love bone marrow, but a lot of places don’t have it but the bartender said it was great. I ordered it and was not disappointed. It came with toasted pita bread and fresh grilled veggies.

The bone marrow was perfectly cooked and the pita bread was a great vessel to enjoy it on. The veggies cut through the richness and were perfectly seasoned.

Next time I come to town again, I will have to stop by and try out more of the menu.

It’s was so fun here! The food was great, and the drinks were a lot of fun since we did a flight of beer and wine.

Our server was about the closest thing to perfect you could ask for, and she was new. The place was a well oiled machine. They handled the crowd effortlessly, so hats off to management.

This place will always be a stop on our list of restaurants and bars on this fun street!

We had the best Lobster ravioli, amazing appetizers and tried literally like half the menu! Everything was excellent! Amazing wine selection as well!

Absolutely love this place! They are beyond hospitable! Burak, Kadir, and Kurt are so kind and make you feel very welcome!

The food, drinks, and atmosphere are fantastic! We even hosted a luncheon for my sons baptism and they were great with Covid Guidelines and made everyone feel so comfortable!

Great place to meet with friends, family, or even coworkers. We bring our little one and they are so accommodating and wonderful! Great place for lunch or dinner!

Love eating here! The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing! The atmosphere is fun, I love coming here on the weekend with some friends.

They have so many yummy beers on tap as well as wine flights! Definitely recommend eating here or at least coming for a drink and a yummy cheese board!

Went out with colleagues to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday and really enjoyed this new San Carlos find.

Tried out their wine flight of 3 red wine tastes. After each one the server would ask if we could guess the varietal. Got 2 out of 3!

Also had some very tasty appetizers and sampled churros and beignets. An awesome new find and definitely will be back!

Ordered the pork baby back ribs with fries, lamb burger, and cowboy chicken sandwich. Along with a dunkle and hazy ipa beer. All were very good. It was hard to decide which was the best dish.

I would go back again! Nice ambiance, sports screens, beer selection, and downtown San Carlos.

Love this place! Me and my high school friends try to get together monthly and we always go here!

We love the wine and menu selections and the staff is super friendly. They make you feel like family and are super accommodating to our whole group. We always feel welcome and they never rush us as we eat, drink, and catch up.

It’s a great space for a group or even a date night. Can’t wait to go back!

Trying the blind tasting flight was fun!! Every one of the wines we tried was good.

And the food (especially the small plates) measures up to the wine very well. Fresh and high quality ingredients in the flavorful steak salad. The dessert didn’t disappoint either.

This is an American-style tapas place with a great selection of scrumptious small-plate dishes and a vast selection of excellent wines and beers.

Have been there twice, once to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and next to introduce the restaurant to my husband as I was sure he would love it.

We’ve now added this place to our list of top go-to restaurants in our area.

I won’t name any of their dishes here because everything we’ve tried so far has been great! The friendly staff is more than eager to suggest their favorites or you can just pick a few from the menu, you can’t go wrong!

Enjoy! We certainly do every time we go.

Excellent selection of wines and beer!

Expressively lively for a Wednesday in San Carlos. With a rustic and modern atmosphere it hosted a eclectic variation of guests.

My sister and I ordered wine flights (ordering another glass of our favorites) octopus salad or other and the bone marrow!

Everything was delicious and at the end we were surprised with a complimentary dessert!

I must note that my sister was not impressed with one of her rosés. I cannot recall which one and for that I apologize! FUN FACT: You can buy wine by the bottle to go!
