Fire Station 16 San Carlos: A Gift to Our Awesome Firefighters
After more than 60 years of service, the original Fire Station 16 in San Carlos has been replaced with a state-of-the-art facility at 1280 Alameda de las Pulgas, marking a major milestone in the city’s commitment to safety and sustainability. Water rates went up in San Carlos and people are not happy. Cal Water implemented a significant rate increase in 2024, aiming to boost its total revenue by $140.6 million. During the October 15, 2024 City Council meeting, San Carlos Mayor John Dugan said he felt blindsided by the rate hikes.
