Toot Sweet is your “one stop” when looking for a froyo shop in San Carlos. Visit this confectionary restaurant for a tasty meal; In addition to frozen yogurt, have a go at their tasty yogurt pies, cakes, and delicious drinks like frozen hot chocolates, cappuccino.
Cream and tart come in different flavors each week or each season, with staple permanent flavors that are favorite in town.
How it Works
Toot Sweet is a self-service shop. The process goes like:
- Get a cup, fill it with froyo flavor of your choice. Swirl it up to make sure you fill your cup alright.
- Choose from a seemingly endless choice of confectionary to top up your yogurt.
- Have your cup weighed and pay for it. Now you’re ready to eat!
- If you want, order some extra dessert or beverage like a slice of cake or a coffee.
Flavors and Toppings
Toot Sweet both have both popular all-season flavors and limited seasonal flavors. All Season flavors may include the likes of Vanilla, Chocolate, Lychee, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream, Banana, Blueberry, Taro, Almond, Coconut, Pistachio and more. They also have non-dairy, vegan, and no-gluten options.
During season changes and special occasions, they celebrate with special flavors such as Eggnog for December, Pumpkin for November, Pink Lemonade in Summer. You just have to keep coming so you don’t miss a special treat!

I eat at least my weight in ounces here annually, can’t believe I’ve never written a review!
First of all, covid cleanliness procedures are top-notch, they work very hard to make sure their customers are safe. You have to sanitize when walking in and if you don’t you will be called out which even though that was me once or twice, I really appreciate.
A lot of kids come here too, and as cute but powerful little germ farms, I like knowing sanitized hands touched the levers! Communication is awesome here too- signage everywhere, clear labels, and when they have to close early for an afternoon or family event they always put a sign up so you know exactly when they’ll reopen. Kind and respectful employees, definitely a well-run family business.
Yummy yogurt with lots of flavors, sometimes I can’t even decide and will get 3. My favorite is NSA Strawberry-banana, NSA strawberry, and the pineapple one which is pretty much frozen dole whip and tastes like Maui. NSA stands for no sugar added, but I like to call the NSA flavors things like “SECRET STRAWBERRY” because it sounds and tastes way cooler.
Pro tip: only put rainbow sprinkles on NSA flavors and NEVER on pineapple, I can’t explain it but it takes away from the island experience.

I love this place for a number of reasons.
First, there is a good variety of options, whether it’s tart, non-dairy, gluten-free, etc. They change the flavors out on a regular basis too.
Second, they are CLEAN! I see how the staff cleans the counters and they ALWAYS wash their hands before they give us samples no matter what they are doing.
Finally, they keep a good selection of toppings that are replenished frequently. Service is always on point, even though it’s mostly a self-serve establishment.
