This is hands-down the best crepe shop I’ve ever had!! I’m originally from LA and this spot is so unique! I’ve never experienced a savory crepe & the texture is phenomenal. Thin, crispy and strong enough to hold all my favorite toppings. The big brother is my personal favorite- it’s loaded with beef, cheese & has a middle eastern flare to it with the zatar! The Nutella poppers are so delicious and look adorable! I liked how it’s bite side and “on the go” food. The cooks & employees are nice and the place is clean! I will be coming back for more, this is my go to spot for sure. Sweet or savory they got it all. Wish i took a picture but i ate it all so fast lol

Best place EVER! Love that they have so many crepe options, including gluten free. You can have salty or sweet crepes and on top that they have a various other options including pancakes (GF available), eggs, salad, açaí bowls and Boba teas. How can you not want to go to this place. So grateful for them!!!

Brandon L. | Yelp
Even though this place is a Crepe Shop their boba tea is amazing. I ordered the Lychee flavor tea with popping boba and an Oreo Crepe. The Oreo Crepe was amazing and so rich, while the Lychee boba tea was so refreshing and good. I highly recommend this store.

Best crepe shop ever!! I visit San Carlos time and time again, but I have never really had the chance to checkout downtown San Carlos. When I did, I came across The Crepe Shop and just HAD to go in and check it out. It’s the cutest little shop where they make Crepes, smoothies, have gelato and other yummy goodies. Of course, I ordered their Oreo crepe and Rocky Road gelato. Absolutely AMAZING!! I have a huge sweet tooth and this totally satisfied it. Service was super quick as well! The second time I had ordered Door Dash from here- A strawberry and banana Nutella crepe and the mini Nutella poppers. Again, this was amazing!! However, I do recommend actually going to the location and eating it fresh. It just doesn’t taste the same after delivery.

I discovered this gem a few weeks ago. I must say, the customer service is GREAT! I have a milk allergy and called the restaurant before finishing my order through door dash to confirm Ilthe panani had no milk in it. The employee I spoke with said the focaccia bread had no milk in it because he wasn’t aware the bread recipe had changed. After getting off the phone with him he called back right away to tell me he found out the recipe had changed which has milk in it. I was so surprised he called back and went out of his way to make sure I didn’t have an allergic reaction! The crepes and acai bowl are phenomenal!! Love this place! So nice to have found a restaurant that actually cares about their customers!

Even during COVID this place still produces the best Crepes! Whether you’re looking for a savory or sweet treat, ‘The Crepe Stop’ has got you covered.. My bestie and I always find ourselves ordering the same three delicious Sweet Crepes….

1:) Oreo Madness—-Crepe filled w/ Nutella and Oreo crumbs.. Topped w/ Caramel, Powdered Sugar & Whipped Creme!

2:) Unicorn—— Crepe filled w/ Marshmallow Creme, Strawberries and Fruity Pebbles… Topped w/ sweet Condensed Milk and Whipped Creme!

3:).Go Bananas—-Crepe simply filled with Nutella and Bananas! And of course Whipped Creme! If you are craving a sugar fix, then come to The Crepe Stop in San Carlos. As far as I know… They are still serving a wide variety of tasty Gelato’s as well as doing Bobas now too!

The first time I tried manakish, I was bewildered! This Lebanese flatbread is typically baked with a mixture of za’atar, olive oil, sumac, salt, and sesame seeds on top, and this herbal mixture imparts a delicious flavor and chewy texture. Sometimes the flatbread even comes with simple vegetables and feta cheese, which adds a nice salty flavor too! Now imagine all of these ingredients.. in a crepe!

The Crepe Stop in San Carlos is a casual cafe with a bit of a French flair, but the flavors of their combinations are definitely global. The Mediterranean savory crepe came with crumbled feta, black olives, peppers, tomatoes, and plenty of za’atar. This is the first time I’ve seen za’atar on a crepe, and perhaps surprisingly–it works! The buckwheat crepe came with so much filling that the feta and black olives were overpoweringly salty, but the Mediterranean flavors were delicious nonetheless!

I also tried the “Beef Supreme” crepe, filled with cheese, tri-tip, tomato, mushroom, and onion. Again, the toppings came in a super generous portion, though my one complaint was that the mushrooms were still raw inside the crepe. If savory crepes aren’t the order of the day, they’ve got sweet crepes, paninis, waffles, pancakes, and gelato as well–what a great casual place for a simple yet innovative bite to eat!

Solid crepe. I ordered via DoorDash for pick up one night and got through right before they closed. They have outdoor seating set up w/ tents, but I took mine to go and enjoy at home instead. Located off a busy street so since it was late, I ended up parking at the market next to them. I ordered the banana/strawberry/nutella crepe and it was still warm when I got home. It was soft rather than crispy but probably because I had it baking in the box. Overall, good crepe. Prices are decent. Glad I can order ahead of time for pick up.

A cute spot to fulfill your sweet tooth craving after a nice meal. There are plenty of dine in spots around The Crepe Shop, so this is a perfect place to go for dessert after. The crepes are exactly what you expect, but of course are delicious and satisfying. Whether you order a sweet or savory crepe, you wont be disappointed. Crepe prices are primarily under $10.

What knocked off a star was the boba. This place sells boba…I wanted to give it a try…definitely aint it. I ordered a matcha green milk tea…..sweet as heck. It really just tasted like pure sweet flavored syrup with milk.

I love how theres Nutella jars of all sizes around this place. The tiny jars are called “Emergency Nutella” just incase u need a hit of nutella to satify that sweet tooth hehe. Parking is everywhere. Meter parking. Parking Lot. There is a cute seating area outside or you can find a public bench on the long block and enjoy your treat!

Missed them yesterday, but made it in time today! So much good! Had a small delicious unicorn gelato while i waited for my crepes & pestered the friendly helpful staff about all the fabulous food listed on their hanging menus. Ordered the savory artichoke heaven crepe & the bitter sweet crepe with strawberries added! Got it all to go, but had to stop to try them first. Luckily although they closed, the seating out front was still available. The crepes were just the right blend of ingredients, so happy! So hard to find an affordable amazing crepe place, but I just did! Wish I lived closer, but definitely be back whenever I am in town!

This is my favorite crepe place on the peninsula. The ingredients are high quality and the crepes are delicious. The owner is a nice guy (the older gentleman is his Dad), and Ricardo is a master at making the best crepes you have ever tasted. They have a large covered patio outside that is dog friendly, which makes it a great place to visit with your furry friend. Highly recommended!

Wonderful neighborhood Crepe shop located in downtown San Carlos. They serve a variety of paninis, ice cream, boba, and crepes with both savory and sweet fillings. Crepes are basically skinny pancakes that are wrapped around wonderful fillings (savory being more meat, egg, and cheese based. Sweet is usually sugar, Nutella, and fruits). Best visited for breakfast and dinner! There is indoor, outdoor covered, and street sitting. They have a restroom. Wait times can be long during weekend busy hours and shortage of staff. Be prepared to spend 45-60 minutes here between ordering, eating, and leaving during busy times. Less than 30 mins during off hours.

Suzanne E. | Yelp
Consistently Yummy! We come here often enough that some of the staff know our orders before we ask. Savory favorites include the Tuna Melt Panini, The Big Kahuna, and the House Special with Pesto. And dessert — the real reason the kids ask to come here: the Simply Amazing. Friendly staff and yummy food. On warm evenings, we really enjoy the outdoor tables.
