San Carlos CA may be The City of Good Living, but as many know, it’s also the City of a good public education. On January 6, 2023 the California Department of Education (CDE) came out with its list of distinguished elementary schools and every elementary school in San Carlos CA made the list! That’s why we see so many smart looking kids running around town! According to the State Superintendent “schools were selected by analyzing data reported through the 2022 Dashboard, including assessment results, chronic absenteeism, suspension rates, and socioeconomic data.”
Very Few Elementary Schools made the List!
Of the 5,872 elementary schools in California, only 356 were selected (roughly 6%) and what an honor that every single elementary school in San Carlos CA made the list!
