We were in a wonderfully benevolent mood when we walked into West Park Bistro. The ambience was chic and the service was attentive and impeccable. Our drinks were promptly served and every single one of them was wonderful.
My son loved his Filet Mignon with the blistered Shishito peppers, mashed potatoes and the butter on top – he polished his entire plate and said the steak was the best he had ever eaten.
My husband had the lamb chops and shared a couple with me and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. My fish tacos were excellent and the fish and the salad tasted extremely fresh.
We would love to go back for another exquisite meal – thanks for the wonderful experience.

We had the private room tonight for our manager dinner and the food was amazing. The private room was decorated with wine bottles on the walls.
We had a set menu and I got the skirt steak which was cooked perfectly. Also got the tomato soup that was delicious. Then the upside down apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream yummmmy.
I have major food coma now but will come back to eat again with my hubs!!

We had a private event for 30 at West Park Bistro for my daughter’s 18th and it was perfect. They gave us the private banquet room and we felt so special. They accommodated our requests for a cake/gift table and set up.
Mami and his staff were attentive and so friendly to all our guests. We never had to wait too long to request anything and the sit down format was perfect.
The menu choices were great. We especially enjoyed the skirt steak and lemon pasta. They also accommodated one of our guests’ gluten allergy. They had a great selection of wines for the adults and let us bring in our own cake ($3 pp cutting fee which is fair).
The price was pretty affordable for all we got compared to other restaurants I researched that wanted to charge extra just for a private room. All our guests had so much fun and my daughter said it was a night to remember.

West Park Bistro was a wonderful find. My wife and I were planning on going to another restaurant on the same street, but they had a 35+ minute wait.
So we decided to walk down the street and look for alternatives. Laurel St. has so many wonderful food options. We chose West Park.
We started with the roasted mussels. The mussels came out sizzling and were so buttery good. The mixed green salad was as good as any other good place. Then I had the filet. It was a perfect medium rare, juicy, and well seasoned.
We sat outside, as it was a beautiful evening. The service was very good and friendly. I recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining here again.

Came here for Mother’s Day with my boyfriends family to celebrate his mom. We came for dinner and then had the nicest server Braydon.
We had a reservation at 4:30 but didn’t realize their kitchen doesn’t open until 5PM so we ordered some drinks. I got the non alcoholic peachy drink which was pretty good.
We ordered from a variety of different entrees. My boyfriend got the pork chop and was craving pasta so I got the linguine with clams. My boyfriend was raving about their pork chop because it was cooked perfectly tender and not a lot of places can get it right.
We all finished our food and everyone was super satisfied! Def recommend this place for date night or any special occasion

Stopped by for a brunch take-out order and these folks have such a lovely restaurant and outdoor dining area, I admired everything. They took great care to make the front outdoor seating upscale, very tasteful and comfortable. This is pretty awesome in lieu of past COVID restrictions.
They took the restrictions as a challenge and said, “Take that COVID!” They have a little fire pit, too; really cool area for drinks and apps with a date or friends.
I ordered the Prawns Benedict and Roasted Beets side salad, whoa! Absolutely high quality and super fresh ingredients. The Benedict is unreal! Oh it made me smile really hard my cheeks hurt, haha. They have about 10 different Benedicts on their lovely brunch menu. All reasonably priced, thank you!
The prawns, spinach, English muffin toasted with little hollandaise sauce, perfection! Farm to table fresh. The entrée included a side of roasted potatoes, another awesome item I mixed with side of arugula accompanied with a lemony salad dressing. Overall, fantastic and quite brilliant.
Also ordered the Beets Salad for later, so good! Loaded with lovely beets, strawberries sliced, arugula and goat cheese crumbles. This can be either a great Spring salad or Fall. Loved every bite. I love beets.
The staff are so kind and accommodating which is always so welcoming. You know they get hit hard by mean customers throughout the day and they’re still being kind to everyone. From the host welcoming you to the final, thank you, everyone was awesome, overall great experience.
You can see the chefs cooking in back from the front dining area, which is cool. Very elegant furniture and lovely large bar stools. Nice bar area, as well.
Please stop by and give them a try! Cheers to great, creative food and good peeps!
Roasted Beets Salad Brunch, total Spring or Fall salad! Fresh and delicious!
Prawns Eggs Benedict Brunch, so good!

Excellent food (via delivery) – the star dish that I always order: octopus. It’s tender, not overly salted (as a way to tenderize), nicely charred, balanced with arugula with a little peppery bite, chickpeas for creaminess, grapefruit for citrus brightener, a little bitterness from the watermelon radish and brought together by the light vinaigrette.
Other items we order often: steak, crab cakes, and pear/goat cheese ravioli (the ravioli could have a lighter sauce but still delicious). calamari is a little overdone usually (there is no more chew in the calamari) but their dipping sauce is great.

The food is great; I order catering through Mami and they have even been able to accommodate me a day before for 8-10 people. I always call to confirm they will/have gotten my email order, with that short notice you should call them anyways #cya.
There is a delivery fee but it’s direct through them so no extra fees compared to doordash or something like that! We always order: steak (comes with green beans and fries), salad, crab cakes, and the amazing pear and goat cheese raviolis.

Had a private dinner in the wine room and it was absolutely amazing! Staff was great!
We got to choose our prefix menu with many options. Whole process was great. The food was amazing.
My whole family can’t wait to go back!

Searching for places to eat in San Carlos and this place popped up. I was in love with their patio dining. The patio setup is really nice with heaters everywhere. It is so beautiful and cozy, sometimes it’s hard to feel warm on winter while eating outside. Actually, it was one of my favorite things there.
Let’s talk about the food! Food and drinks were exceptional. I went with a friend and we had an amazing time there.
For starters, I had Grilled Octopus and Fried Calamari. My favorite was Grilled Octopus, the arugula was very fresh and the octopus was delicious and perfectly tender. 10 of 10 for every single aspect of this dish.
For entrees, we ordered Seared Ahi Tuna, Scottish Salmon, and West Park Burger. I am a seafood lover and I can tell you how fresh the tuna and salmon were. They also were very tasty and well prepared.
My friend loved their West Park Burger, she said it was juicy and yummy! One of the best burgers that she has ever eaten.
You have to order Espresso Martini, this cocktail is great and so beautiful!
The service is outstanding, our waitress was so friendly and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Decided to venture outside of San Jose area and came across West Park Bistro. Made a reservation for my girl friends and I tonight, a Thursday night.
We were greeted at the door right away with a warm welcome. The staff was kind and pleasant throughout the entire night I must say.
The food… was absolutely delicious!! We started off with the calamari and mussels. I’ve honestly never had mussels like this before and sure I will crave them u til next time. As a table we ordered the halibut, salmon and short rib pasta. We all cleared our plates.
To end our night, even though we we’re full with such delicious meals the server suggested the apple crisp dessert. We said just just to cause. OMG! We did not expect such a treat.
We will definitely will be back!

Recently had a private event here and the entire experience was top notch. Murat and Mami handled every detail with care and the food was excellent. I had a couple tastings in the run up to the event and everything on their new menu is fabulous.
I honestly used to think a neighboring restaurant down the street was the quintessential neighborhood bistro but that place has since gone a bit corporate.
West Park is hands down my new favorite in the area. And their outdoor seating is plentiful and downright stylish. Looking forward to trying their brunch next.

Went for a private event on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time! The space is cozy, the staff were quick, courteous and very accommodating.
The food was excellent. I had an organic spring mix salad with walnuts, feta cheese, and a light vinaigrette. The menu offered a choice of salmon, chicken breast, or wild mushroom ravioli. I went with the ravioli and it was delicious. Dessert was a warm apple crisp with French vanilla ice cream and it was magnificent; a foodie’s dream.
Plenty of outdoor seating available with heat lamps for when it gets chilly. The place was clean and well-kept. Highly recommended!

Have been going to West Park Bistro about 2 to 3 times a year since they opened and they have never disappointed us. They have an extensive wine collection and the food and service is always good. Yesterday was not any different.
For starters, we had the fried calamari, wagyu meatballs, grilled octopus, butter squash gnocchi, gremolata fries, and salad. Vinaigrette in the salad and the grilled octopus had the perfect acid, salt, and oil ratio. The calamari and grilled octopus were tender and not chewy.
We had the burger, pasta forno, grilled skirt steak, fish taco and bacon wrapped dates for entrees.
The pasta was delicious, skirt steak was juicy, the burger had a perfect char which I liked.
However, we would have preferred the fish taco to be fried instead of grilled and the bacon wrapped dates were a tad done.
Wait staff was excellent. Our server frequently checked on us, refilled our wine glasses, and bussed our table. What also impressed me most, as we were leaving the manager/owner asked for feedback and wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with the food and service. He even offered to have the fried fish taco on our next visit as long as I let them know when I make our reservation!

We had an amazing dinner in the their Private room for our business meeting! Loved the food and ambiance. Our waitress Ash was so kind and helpful, great service. I had a Rack of Lamb with my red wine, really enjoyed it.

We had a private dining event at west park last week. Host was very welcoming and servers did an excellent job at giving us a unique and one of a kind experience.
Prix fix menu was made special for us for the occasion and kitchen was very accommodating with our requests. Would highly recommend returning to the venue for future enlarge party events!
