Night of Holiday Lights 2022

Today we have rain; but tomorrow, the weather man says it’s gonna be a sunny cold Friday as we welcome the 12th Annual Night of Holiday Lights in San Carlos, from 5:00PM to 8:30PM at Laurel Street which will be closed all the way from San Carlos Avenue to Cherry Street. This will be turned into a carnival with carolers, booths, and presentations and musical performances.

So… its time to shake the dust off your flashy red sweater, find those hot mittens, and put on some blinking reindeer horns for the whole shebang. Join us as we welcome together the Holiday Season here in the City of Good Living. Last year’s Holiday kick-off was extra special as it was the first few get-togethers in San Carlos after the pandemic; and for sure, this year is gonna be even more fun!

So what can we expect tomorrow night?

Activities

Family Fun and Kids’ Activities.
Carolers. One in every corner, maybe? If your heart is bursting with song and jolly Christmas cheer, you’re always free to get your own corner and sing.
Arts and Crafts. Different groups and clubs all over San Carlos will be sponsoring these activities, such as card-coloring, ornament and figurine designing, stickers, cupcake designing, pie throwing (just kidding), and more…
Hot Chocolate and Holiday Goodies. Now where would all this be without those fragrant gingerbread cookies and large mugs of hot chocolate topped with fluffy cream and molten marshmallows..
Holiday Show. In previous years we had Santa, the Grinch, some elves… what are you expecting this year? Comment below.
Festive Lights, and Snow. Sorry kids, its fake snow… but lighter and fluffier than the real one!
Musical performances. Our local bands will be performing Christmas classics and pop hits.

As usual, this event is organized by the San Carlos Parks and Recreations Department. Thank you always for your hard work! For more events and activities in San Carlos, check the annual timeline of events here.

See you all then! Watch this page as we’ll be back to give you actual photos and footage of the event tomorrow night 😉

SHARE! If you have other fun ideas you’d like to see happen in the next Night of Holiday Lights, please comment below! Anything under the sun!
