Every May, San Carlos Hometown Days brings together friends, neighbors, schools, community groups, and small businesses for a weekend that feels uniquely local. But this year’s event is something special. As San Carlos marks 100 years of good living, the 2025 Hometown Days celebration will carry extra meaning, more to see, taste, and experience. Set for May 16 — 18 at Burton Park, the event will feature many of the annual favorites that everyone looks forward to.
What makes this year different is we will also be celebrating the city’s 100th birthday. This year’s highlights include the Hometown Days Parade, Pet Palooza, Cornhole Tournament, Fun Run, Pancake Breakfast, and even a futuristic Drone Show. This is one of the best ways to experience the spirit of San Carlos, and a chance to gather with friends, reconnect with neighbors, and see how the city continues to grow while holding onto the small-town feel we all love.
Children will especially enjoy the rides and games designed just for them. From the parade to the booths to the music in the park, there’s something for every age and interest. This isn’t just an event, it’s a commemoration. It’s a party that everyone’s invited to!

May 16-17, Friday-Saturday, Extend to 9:00 PM | Burton Park
This year, San Carlos Hometown Days 2025 is going bigger, brighter, and later. For the first time ever, Hometown Days is extending the fun until 9:00 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday—because why should the good times end when the sun goes down?
That means more rides, more food, more music, and yes, more time to soak in all the centennial magic.
