Join the City of San Carlos for a lively Earth Day celebration on Sunday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Plaza Parking Lot on Laurel Street.
This family-friendly event brings the community together to explore practical ways to live more sustainably while enjoying a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Spend the morning discovering simple, meaningful ways to care for the environment:

- Practical tips for everyday living, including how to reduce waste, conserve water, and save energy
- A casual, engaging setting ideal for families, friends, students, or solo visitors

Earth Day Art Contest for Students
Students across all grade levels are invited to take part in the San Carlos Earth Day Art Contest.
Eligibility:
- Grades K–5
- Grades 6–8
- Grades 9–12
Participants are encouraged to submit artwork inspired by the planet, sustainability, and their local community.

- Submission deadline: April 10 at 6:00 PM
- Drop-off location: San Carlos Youth Center

Winning entries will be recognized during the Earth Day event, with prizes awarded to selected students.
