Need a Walker, Wheelchair, or Crutches? MELP’s Got You Covered—For Free. Join the MELP Pop-Up Event at the ACC
If you—or someone you love—needs medical equipment but doesn’t want to break the bank (or their back hauling it around), the Medical Equipment Loan Program (MELP) is here to help.
🗓 Wednesday, April 22
🕚 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
📍 San Carlos Adult Community Center
Volunteers from MELP will be at the San Carlos Adult Community Center to chat with the community about their amazing program, which lends out medical equipment—for free—to folks in the mid-Peninsula area.
Yes, free.

How it works:
- Generous people donate gently used items they no longer need
- MELP volunteers repair, clean, and sanitize the equipment
- That equipment is then loaned out to anyone in need, with no strings (or fees) attached
The program is powered by a nonprofit partnership between local Rotary Clubs and the Villages of San Mateo County—aka, some seriously good humans doing seriously helpful work.
Come by, ask questions, and learn how MELP is making life a little easier—one crutch, walker, and wheelchair at a time.
