We are thrilled to be playing 3 shows at Filoli Gardens’ Nightfall experience in October! The Goat Hill Girls are bringing our signature blend of bluegrass, country, and a dash of spooky songs to this magical autumn event. Mark your calendars—we’ll be there on Wednesday, October 8, Monday, October 20, and Friday, October 31 (Halloween!). The first ticket time starts at 5:30 pm, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

As twilight descends, Filoli Gardens transforms into a mysterious world of roaming slugs, glowing mushrooms, shifting shadows, and spooky scarecrows. This isn’t your ordinary evening stroll through the gardens—it’s an immersive experience designed to enchant and surprise.
The event invites you to explore the hauntingly beautiful House, immerse yourself in a pumpkin-filled Meadow, and wander through moonlit woods where Trolls lurk and unexpected wonders await. Every step brings a new scene to discover, blending the elegance of Filoli’s historic grounds with the whimsy of autumn magic.
And right in the middle of this enchanting atmosphere, you’ll hear live music floating through the night—the Goat Hill Girls adding their melodies to the spell of the evening.
Who Are the Goat Hill Girls?
For those who haven’t met us yet, the Goat Hill Girls are a Bay Area-based band known for bringing soulful harmonies and heartfelt playing to the stage. We mix traditional bluegrass and country tunes with fresh arrangements and a joyful stage presence.
Here’s who you’ll see on stage at Nightfall:
- Lisa Burns: holding down the rhythm on bass
- Kim Elking: weaving bright melodies on mandolin
- Phyllis Erck: adding texture with dobro and banjo
- Linda Maki: providing steady guitar and vocals
- Lee Anne Welch: painting the night with fiddle tunes
