San Carlos is getting ready for an inspiring evening of film, community, and meaningful outdoor stories as the Representation Matters Film Festival 2026 comes to Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Hosted by Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and community partners, this special in-person event invites people of all ages to experience powerful short films that celebrate diverse voices and experiences in the outdoors.
Taking place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the fourth annual Representation Matters Film Festival offers an opportunity to enjoy compelling stories while connecting with neighbors, local organizations, and fellow community members. Best of all, advance registration is required, but attendance is free.

This year’s film selections come from the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, one of the nation’s leading environmental and adventure film festivals.
