Alright San Carlos, get your flapper dresses and fedoras ready—because the Centennial Senior Prom is rolling out the red carpet, and it’s dripping in 1920s glam.
📅 Friday, April 25
🕕 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
📍 San Carlos Adult Community Center
This isn’t your average slow-dance-in-the-gym prom. Nope. This one’s got history, charm, and the perfect excuse to bust out some vintage threads. It’s all part of the City’s 100-year celebration—because if we’re going to hit triple digits, we’re doing it in style.
Hosted by the Friends of the Adult Community Center (shoutout to our local legends) and the Youth Advisory Council, the night includes:
Guests are highly encouraged to dress up in their best 1920s attire—think feathers, fringe, pearls, suspenders… the whole Gatsby works. It’s all about stepping back in time and living it up like it’s 1925.
🎟 Tickets? Just $15 per person

This party is part of the city’s Centennial Community Grant Program, which means it’s basically history in motion—with snacks and swing dancing.
So dust off those dancing shoes, grab a date (or fly solo—no judgment), and come make prom memories the second time around. Because let’s face it, everything’s better with a little more sparkle and a lot less teenage angst.
