One of the better poke restaurants. Fresh fish at a poke place is a given, but some restaurants slack on their sides. Poke’d Out Fish Bar shines where every ingredient is quality, so the combined bowl is excellent.

These guys ran the best bagel shop here in San Carlos for years, so it’s no surprise that they opened up this gem – amazingly fresh fish delivered daily, love their house poke (sauce fantastic) and all the toppings you could ever want. Even Cheetos if that’s your thang! Run and get some!

Great poke bowls! Good portion size, plenty of add-in options, and very friendly staff! I chose the ahi in their poke sauce (soy sauce based) and salmon with miso sesame, which were both very good.

Have been wanting to try the new poke place in San Carlos…and the reviews are all right. The ahi poke and crab salad are so fresh. The small bowl is plenty for lunch and a nice variety of options to add to your sushi rice, brown rice or greens. Service was good as well and wait wasn’t too long. We will be back to try some of the other options. Nice to see a new place on Laurel Street.

Being from Hawaii I’m very particular about poke’. I usually make my own because most places disappoint or leave my craving unsatisfied… NOT here!!! I have to say this place is definitely the top place I’ve found in the peninsula now!! I have 2 places right in walking distance to me and both are decent but this is going to be my go to moving forward!!! Things I enjoyed Starting with the styles of the pre made pokes.. They were very authentic to back home and fresh and full of flavor. The house ahi ( kinda like a teriyaki shoyu sauce) the maki salmon a creamy mild sauce and the miso sesame shrimp. They even had authentic ogo seaweed as a topping major points from this island girl. I also appreciated that the masago was not an extra charge. They even had a marinated tofu blend as a free topping and pickled radish you find in Japanese/ Hawaiian style dishes. To some that’s not a big deal but this place was just so on point with what I grew up with. So glad this place is around now! can’t wait to try some different protein picks next visit!

What a great addition to San Carlos! Great selection of options and the freshiest of fish choices! Glad to have Kenny and his family back in San Carlos! We visit at least once a week for dinner!

I am stoked finding out that a Poke Bar opened up in downtown San Carlos, next to where I work at SamTrans. The location is convenient, staff is both prompt and friendly, and the food is AMAZING. There are a myriad of options (fish, rice, sauces, seasonings, vegetables, etc.) to choose from that I couldn’t find in other local Poke bars that charge much higher. The food is fresh and savory, as well, and the sauces add a decent kick of spicy and umami flavor. The price is fair for the generous amount of food in a medium bowl. Definitely worth the visit, and I’ll be back here for sure when I have my poke cravings.

I ordered this through Uber Eats for a quick lunch and was so happy I did! The small build-your-own bowl was HUGE and packed full of delicious, fresh ingredients. I got shrimp and ahi tuna and both we amazing. I will definitely get this again!
