Blind Tasting Restaurant
If you’re in San Carlos CA and looking for a yummy experience, then try Blind Tasting Restaurant & Bar. Located on Laurel Street in San Carlos CA, it has both a gorgeous area for indoor dining and also a covered outdoor area; we elected to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. The menu is diverse; fish, steak, burgers, pasta, soups, salads, and plenty of appetizers.
Viv and I recently went there for lunch and I had the Salmon with potatoes and mixed vegetables. It was delicious, the salmon was both crispy and flaky, the potatoes and vegetable perfectly cooked and the bread at the table was warm and to die for. The portion size was perfect, I left satisfied but not sleepy.
Viv had the Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli and from the noises she was making, it sounded delicious too. I’d tell you more, but she would not share!
This was a lunch and it was a work day so we did avoid libations, but boy were there choices! Inside the restaurant is a huge wall of wine, numerous beers on tap, and a full bar for those desiring something a little stronger. The wine menu was huge!
The meal arrived quickly and our server was very attentive. Overall, a great experience in the City of Good Living and Good Eating! I did keep my eyes open during the whole meal, nit sure if that was allowed?
