It's spring time in the City of Good Living! As the flowers bloom and the weather warms up, San Carlos comes alive with a variety of activities for families.
Two much-awaited annual marathon events happen in April: The No Foolin' Footrace and the Airport Runway Run. Other highlights of the month include the first-ever Teen Wellness Retreat and The San Carlos Day of Service during Earth Day.
We also have regular monthly events at the SC Noodle House, The Alexandria, Filoli Gardens, Art Bias, Auto Vino, The Reading Bug, San Carlos Library, Adult Community Center, Youth Center, and more. Adult Spring games carry on from last month.

The Airport Runway Run at San Carlos local municipal airport is an annual event that hosts several hundred people every year on race day.

San Carlos Day of Service is a one-day celebration of our wonderful city through acts of community service, started by a group of enthusiastic San Carlans in 2017.

The Teen Wellness Retreat is a one day event for teens to destress and refresh their mental health and well-being through various workshops and self-care activities. The day will include breakfast, lunch, boba, a resource fair, raffles, and giveaways, all for FREE!

If you like to hike the hills of Edgewood park to the hills of Waterdog lake park, join the San Carlos Explorers for a 2-5 mile hike each day of Spring Break! Explorers will be led by Youth Center Staff and embark on five thrilling hikes, one of them a hike on the Lands End trail
