Activities at Burton Park
Summer fun continues in San Carlos as “Music in The Park” plays your favorite music LIVE every Friday evenings at Burton Park. Get ready for some cowboy music by California Cowboys, dance and party hits from the past decades performed by Pop Fiction and Pride & Joy, culminating to an evening of songs by the Bee Gees performed the band You Should be Dancing during the last Friday of the month. The next installment of “Movie Nights” happens on July 20, featuring “Top Gun: Maverick”. The San Carlos Children’s Theater is also calling everyone to join the “San Carlos Scavenger Hunt” on July 7: for all ages, and anyone with a funny bone and a knack for adventure.
For Families and Kids
Hiller Aviation Museum also packed its calendar this July with activities such as the Annual EuroWest Model Train Show, the Bubble Bonanza, “Happy Birds” Bird Show, and the Kids’ Air Faire. For musicals, the San Carlos Children’s Theater will be showing “The SpongeBob Musical” and “Curtains: A Musical Whodunit” during the last two weekends of the month. Meanwhile, Lauren never misses an outdoor storytime event before Friday Noon at the Reading Bug.
For Adults
There is always something interesting happening at the town library, and this month they are bringing back “Trivia Nights” for adults. If you’re an avid fan of luxury cars, visit Auto Vino’s Car monthly event, “Cars and Cabernet” and be wowed by some of the rarest cars in San Carlos. Art Bias also has a month-long exhibit featuring conceptual art by Ken Manske and Nanette Wylde, plus the monthly Real Life Drawing Sessions. For laughs with friends, come watch “Grapes and Giggles” at the Domenico Winery this July 13 – featuring comedians you watch on late-night TV, Comedy Central, SF Sketchfest, and more!
