For Families
This Thursday, the Reading Bug will host a “Princess in Black” Party with costumes and parade at Laurel Street. Come Friday, the Youth Dance Palooza happens at the Youth Center, exclusively for 6th to 8th Graders.
The coming weekend is exciting with Caltrain Electric Train Launch, where all sorts of parties and/or concerts will happen simultaneously in different Caltrain stations across the Bay Area. Free train rides throughout the weekend, with free snacks and refreshments in various stations. And on Sunday we kick off the “United Against Hate” Week in San Carlos with a community dinner hosted by the Community Foundation of San Carlos. Or if you’re into gardening, come join the Indoor Garden Party at Reach and Teach with guests from UC Master Gardeners and San Mateo County Master Composters (it’s a free event!)
For Adults
Grapes and Giggles is back in San Carlos with a show this Wednesday at Domenico Winery. On Friday, we have two events back to back: Cinema Night at the Alexandria featuring the classic movie “Casablaca”, and “Hispanic Heritage Night” at Devil’s Canyon to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Meanwhile, the much awaited “Boots Blue Jeans & BBQ” event happens this Saturday at the ACC.

The Fun Youth Center Dance Palooza 2024

Place: San Carlos Youth Center
The Youth Center is hosting a Youth Center Dance Palooza on Friday, September 20th from 7:00-9:00 pm for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The Dance will have festival face paint, temporary tattoos, and pizza! Dances are single entry, once admitted, students will need parent/guardian permission in order to leave before dismissal.
