Learn more about Young Eagles from the EAA’s website.
Get ready to have the experience of your lifetime. We’ll show you how to become a Young Eagle and taste the freedom of flight that most people only dream about. Many young people have a passion for aviation and would be thrilled to get their first flight. Participate in a Young Eagles event, where you can get to ride in a small plane, for free! However, to fly as many children between 8-17 years of age as possible, there needs to be a sufficient number of volunteer pilots available to conduct these flights.
The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is a dynamic organization comprising members with diverse aviation interests and backgrounds.
Established in 1953 by a group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, initially focused on building personal aircraft, EAA later broadened its mission to encompass antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicopters, and modern manufactured planes.
Being an EAA member allows you to immerse yourself in the aviation spirit alongside a dedicated community of recreational pilots, builders, and restorers.
EAA stands out as the sole association that provides the joy and camaraderie of engaging in flying, building, and restoring recreational aircraft within a vibrant community of passionate aviation enthusiasts.
