February 17 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

SCFC is hosting EAA Chapter 20 for their Young Eagles event on February 17th.

Learn more about Young Eagles from the EAA’s website.

About the Young Eagles

Get ready to have the experience of your lifetime. We’ll show you how to become a Young Eagle and taste the freedom of flight that most people only dream about. Many young people have a passion for aviation and would be thrilled to get their first flight. Participate in a Young Eagles event, where you can get to ride in a small plane, for free! However, to fly as many children between 8-17 years of age as possible, there needs to be a sufficient number of volunteer pilots available to conduct these flights.

  • Register for a Young Eagles flight using EAA’s online registration tool. CLICK HERE
  • Find a Young Eagles rally or other youth events in your area. CLICK HERE
  • Find a Volunteer Pilot – Search for the nearest local Young Eagles coordinator to you. Even if there isn’t a coordinator in your town, contact the closest one as they know other participating pilots in the area. CLICK HERE

About EAA

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is a dynamic organization comprising members with diverse aviation interests and backgrounds.

Established in 1953 by a group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, initially focused on building personal aircraft, EAA later broadened its mission to encompass antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicopters, and modern manufactured planes.

Being an EAA member allows you to immerse yourself in the aviation spirit alongside a dedicated community of recreational pilots, builders, and restorers.

EAA stands out as the sole association that provides the joy and camaraderie of engaging in flying, building, and restoring recreational aircraft within a vibrant community of passionate aviation enthusiasts.
