This Land Is Your Land, This Cake Is Your Cake! Woody Guthrie Sing-A-Long at Reach and Teach

Calling all folk fans, change-makers, and snack lovers—this one’s for you.

Join us this Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Reach and Teach (1179 San Carlos Ave, San Carlos) for a chill little get-together with a whole lotta heart. We’re marking Woody Guthrie’s birthday (he was actually born July 14, but close enough for folk music, right?) with songs, snacks, and a slice of cake.

Expect light refreshments, some good conversation, and a chance to sing your favorite Guthrie tunes together. Think “This Land Is Your Land,” “Do Re Mi,” and maybe a few surprise deep cuts.

In a time when immigration and justice are front and center, coming together to sing the words of someone who stood for equity and working folks feels extra meaningful. Woody’s music is for all of us—then, now, and always.
