In this “Wine Edutainment: Taste Like a Pro” experience, attendees will be guided by the expert Master Sommelier David Glancy, one of only 43 professionals in California to have passed the Master Sommelier exam. With his vast knowledge and engaging teaching style, David will walk you through the physiology of taste and teach you how to evaluate wines using a blind tasting approach.
But this is not your average wine class! In addition to learning about the technical aspects of wine, such as acidity, tannins, residual sugar, and other structural elements, you’ll also start building your own wine description vocabulary. The goal of this fun and engaging session is to help you gain a better understanding of what kinds of wines you like, why you like them, and how to talk about them with confidence.
