Join the Caring Cupboard Thanksgiving Food Drive at the Adult Community Center!
This Thanksgiving season, let’s come together as a community to support families in need! The Adult Community Center (ACC) is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to collect essential items for the Caring Cupboard Grocery Program. Your contributions will help create nourishing holiday meals for local families and individuals, spreading warmth and care during the holiday season.
What We’re Collecting
We’re looking for prepackaged and non-perishable items to create complete Thanksgiving meals for Caring Cupboard participants. Here are some of the items needed:
- Canned Vegetables and Fruits: corn, green beans, carrots, pumpkin, cranberry sauce, applesauce, and mixed fruit
- Instant Potatoes and Stuffing Mix
- Gravy and Broth
- Canned Soups or Stews
These pantry essentials will go a long way in making Thanksgiving special for those in our community.
When and Where to Donate
Donations can be dropped off at the Adult Community Center (601 Chestnut Street) from November 1 to November 25.
Drop-off Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Every item you donate makes a difference! Together, we can make sure that no family goes without a hearty meal this Thanksgiving.
