Pull up a chair and come hang with the San Carlos Parks & Rec crew and the StoryCorps studio team for a one-hour deep dive into local voices at the StoryCorps Listening Party on Thursday, July 24, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at the Adult Community Center (yep, the one on Chestnut Street).
Here’s what’s going down:
You’ll get the inside scoop on how StoryCorps captures and preserves real interviews—think everyday people sharing moments that matter. These stories don’t just disappear into the void either; they’re saved forever in the Library of Congress (yeah, that one) and online for future generations to hear.
