Exciting Science Squid Dissection at the San Carlos Library
Dive Into an Epic Squid Dissection
Squid fans, assemble! On Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 3–4 PM at the San Carlos Library Children’s Patio, we’re turning into a mini marine lab. You’ll get hands-on with a California market squid—think tentacles, ink sacs, even its beak.
This STEAM session is perfect for curious kids (6–11) and teens (12–18). We’ll break down squid anatomy, map out their habitat, and decode their secret ink-blasting skills. Then we’ll chat ocean conservation. Because knowing your cephalopods means saving our seas.
No fancy lab coat needed—just a dash of courage and a love for all things ocean. Don’t worry, gloves and guidance are on us. Space is super limited, so snag your spot now at sancarloslibrary.org/events.
