Read-A-Thon Objectives

1. Foster a passion for reading among students while generating funds for our schools.
2. Achieve 100% student enrollment and participation district-wide.
3. Attain a fundraising goal of $150,000 to benefit the PTA, SCEF, and San Carlos Charter.

Why Support the Read-A-Thon?

The PTA & SCEF Read-A-Thon serves as a vital fundraiser for SCEF, our non-profit education foundation. SCEF allocates funds to support crucial aspects of your child’s educational journey, including PTA initiatives, reduced class sizes, and various programs such as literacy, science, music, technology, arts, sports, and counseling. Your backing enables the PTA to sustain and enhance numerous programs and events at your school, ensuring that every child benefits.

What’s Our Target?

Our goal this year is to raise $150,000. A modest contribution of $50 from each participant can collectively help us achieve this target, with the added incentive of winning exciting prizes! Notably, Belmont has raised over $340,000 in their Read-A-Thon—can we surpass that achievement?
