The Exciting San Carlos Scavenger Hunt
Starting Point: Burton Park Stage Area. Everyone welcome! “Kids” from 5-95 will have a blast!
Gather your friends or family and join this summer’s SAN CARLOS SCAVENGER HUNT, hosted by SCCT’s Youth Advisory Board! Prepare for a morning filled with fun and surprises for everyone!
Spend a crazy morning solving puzzles, performing funny tasks, and laughing with friends and family during SCCT’s FREE San Carlos Scavenger Hunt. The fun begins at 10 am, July 7. Teams will start in Burton Park and spread out on foot through central SC. You can compete for prizes or just take your time and enjoy the game. Five team divisions: Kids, Teens, Adults, Family, Young Family ( shorter hunt for kids 7 and under)
How the San Carlos Scavenger Hunt Works:
Teams will follow clues, solve puzzles, and complete hilarious challenges on foot throughout central San Carlos. While cars are not allowed, you can use bikes, scooters, skates, wagons, and strollers.
Teams earn points for each challenge completed, and the first team in each division to finish the hunt will receive 50 bonus points. The team with the highest score in each division will win a prize for their speed and cleverness. But the greatest reward is the fun you’ll have during the scavenger hunt!
Winners & Prizes
Teams will compete in different divisions, with prizes awarded to the top team in each:
- Kids
- Teen
- Adult
- Family
- Young Family (a shorter hunt for families with children aged 7 and under).
Participants under 12 must be accompanied by someone 16 or older. Advance registration is encouraged but not required. Teams that register early will receive a special hint.

To play, your team will need:
- 1 Phone
- Comfortable Shoes
- A Sense of Humor
Time and Place
Check-in starts at 9:15 am, and the scavenger hunt begins at 10:00 am. Teams are encouraged to check in early.
