Got kids who love a good quest? Or maybe you just need a fun reason to get the whole fam out of the house? Enter Children’s Redwood Theatre: Warrior Princess – Quest to Save the Sacred Grove, happening Saturday, July 20 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the always-gorgeous Filoli Estate in Woodside.
This isn’t just a puppet show—it’s a full-blown enchanted adventure.
Presented by Rabbit Hole Theater, this outdoor performance invites little adventurers and grown-up sidekicks to follow a brave Warrior Princess on a mission through the forest. But before the puppets take the stage, there’s a twist—you’ll walk one mile through nature, passing by the TROLLS: Save the Humans art installation. Yep, real troll sculptures hiding out among the trees. It’s giving storybook meets sculpture garden.
Expect a lot of ooohs, ahhhs, and “Can we come back tomorrow?” from the tiny humans. It’s part of Filoli’s Children’s Redwood Theatre series, and it’s pure magic—perfect for families looking to mix outdoor time with just the right dose of imagination.
