Make Your Spring Bloom: Pressed Flower Workshop in San Carlos
If you’re looking to add a little flower power to your Tuesday, the San Carlos Library has you covered—literally—with petals.
Join us for the Pressed Flowers Workshop on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. This cozy, hands-on art class is perfect for anyone who loves crafting, cards, or just stopping to smell the roses (and then flattening them into art). It’ll be held in the 2nd Floor Community Room at the library.

In this class, you’ll learn how to choose the right blooms, press them like a pro, and turn them into beautiful, one-of-a-kind greeting cards. Think handmade, heartfelt, and totally fridge-door-worthy. Plus, it’s a calming way to bring a little nature indoors—minus the pollen.
A Few Things to Know Before You Press On
- This class is ideal for adults (ages 19+)
- It’s taught in English, and everything you need will be provided.
- Due to high demand (San Carlos knows how to craft!), please register for just one session in this series so everyone gets a chance to join the fun.
So, if you’re feeling crafty and want to do something a little different this spring, this one-hour class might be your new favorite way to spend a Tuesday morning.
