Come by and dip your toes in a little color theory and acrylic paint! In this class, we will be putting together a little tabletop mushroom forest while using colors interestingly and intentionally!
There is no need to have prior experience in painting to enjoy this class. All materials including a little worksheet will be provided and artist Malisa will be there to guide you on how to use the materials, layer the paint and create your charming little forest!
Malisa Suchnaya is an Oakland-based artist, originally from Singapore. She has been painting for 20 years and is currently a full-time illustrator and artist working out of Helvella Art. Having taught high school art for 3 years and after-school art for 1 year, she now loves to fill her need to share her love for art in smaller, bite-sized pieces. Her work revolves around nature, her love for cats and the feminine. She loves to create worlds for the viewer to escape into and feels that art should always be there to create a bridge between people. She is a traditional artist, primarily using watercolor, colored pencils and acrylics.
