Description
Let your imagination take flight at The Lark in San Carlos! In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own colorful fabric butterfly wish—a playful project perfect for expressing creativity. Come solo, bring a friend, or share the experience with a young maker (ages 12+ with a parent). Expect a cozy afternoon of crafting, light refreshments, and plenty of laughter.
Each butterfly you make can become a brooch, hairpin, or soft keepsake—a little treasure to keep or gift to someone special.
Meet Your Instructor
Leila Ghasempor is a sustainable, interdisciplinary artist with an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago, a BA in Sculpture with a minor in Art History, and an Associate degree in Art and Design. She is the founder of People Around Us, a platform that uplifts artists and crafters, and also serves as Workshops Chair at FabMo, a nonprofit dedicated to sustainability and creative reuse.
