“It’s the spookiest time of the year, when the tiniest ghouls and ghosts haunt Downtown San Carlos in search of CANDY!
“Children 7 years and under, accompanied by an adult, are invited to Trick-or-Treat down Laurel Street from San Carlos Avenue to Arroyo Avenue in their costume and visit the businesses displaying a Goblin Walk sign.
“The first 450 Trick-or-Treaters can pick up a Goblin Walk Trick-or-Treat bag at Harrington Park or from any Goblin Walk volunteer!”
This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. It will be on the 600, 700, 800 blocks of Laurel Street.
Trick-or-treating will take place on the 600, 700, and 800 blocks of Laurel Street. For safety reasons, the City of San Carlos will close the 600-800 blocks of Laurel Street for the event. Street closure will take place at 3:00 p.m. The street will re-open at the conclusion of the event, as soon as it is safe to do so.

This Sunday, brace yourself for a tree-mendous encounter at the Laurel Street Farmers Market in San Carlos! From 9AM to 11AM, Jessica Hatfield will be making a special appearance as a towering forest creature, and she’s not your typical friendly woodland critter. With an imposing presence that’s rooted in the mystery of the wild, she’ll be roaming through the market, keeping an eye on all the fresh produce and local goods. Don’t be leafed behind—if you’re brave enough, you can try to catch a glimpse of her as she branches out among the stalls.
It’s sure to be a bark-worthy experience! Whether you’re there to pick up your groceries or hoping to encounter this fir-midable creature, make sure you’re ready for a morning filled with wonder and a touch of wilderness. Don’t miss your chance to stalk the aisles alongside Jessica Hatfield’s towering forest creature—just be sure to stay on her good side!
