Each Green Corner will be hosting two events at Redwood High School, and these activities are proudly part of Community Service Saturday. A Living Campus Workday: Hands-On Gardening for All
The day begins with the Living Campus Workday (9:00 – 12:00), a collaborative workday in the community garden. Participants will help maintain and enhance the garden spaces that serve as living classrooms and shared green areas for the school and the wider community.
This portion of the event is perfect for anyone who enjoys getting their hands dirty while making a visible difference. Tasks may include planting, weeding, mulching, composting, and general garden care. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome, making it an excellent introduction to gardening for young participants while still offering meaningful work for experienced gardeners.
