The Adult Community Center (ACC) is thrilled to partner with the Youth Advisory Council to present Generation Buddies, an exciting new program designed to foster meaningful connections between seniors and youth. This unique initiative brings together participants of all ages, encouraging intergenerational bonding through shared activities, conversations, and delicious meals.
Each month, Generation Buddies will host a special event where seniors and youth can engage in fun, planned activities that promote camaraderie and learning. Whether it’s playing games, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, this program aims to create lasting memories while breaking down generational barriers.
Join us for the first Generation Buddies event on Monday, September 23, from 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This month’s activity? A lively series of bingo games with exciting prizes up for grabs! Afterward, participants will sit down together for a family-style dinner, featuring a delicious menu of classic Caesar salad, garlic bread, hearty pasta bolognese, and decadent chocolate mousse for dessert.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect, laugh, and build friendships that span generations. Whether you’re a senior looking to share your wisdom or a youth excited to learn from those with more life experience, Generation Buddies promises an afternoon filled with fun and community spirit.
