Stanford Blood Center (SBC) is a community driven and locally focused blood center that works in tandem with Stanford Medical School and hospitals. 100% of the blood that is donated through SBC is utilized in local hospitals such as Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, Stanford medical centers, and Sequoia Hospital. SBC depends on community and business organizations to help collect the 1000+ blood donations they need each week, just to meet the needs of local patients.
