Already Clocked Out: New Talent Comedy Showcase Brings Fresh Laughs to San Carlos
Who says Mondays have to be boring? Comedy fans in San Carlos and throughout the Peninsula have a reason to look forward to the start of the week as Stand-Up Comedy New Talent Showcase: “Already Clocked Out” takes over Blue Oak Brewing Company for an evening of fresh jokes, local talent, cold beer, and plenty of laughter.
Starting Monday, September 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM, this two-hour comedy showcase will bring together emerging comedians from the local scene for a night designed to turn an ordinary Monday into an entertaining night out. The event is for guests 18 and older and will take place at Blue Oak Brewing Company, 815 Cherry Lane, San Carlos, United States.
With another date also scheduled, comedy lovers have more than one opportunity to catch this unique Peninsula comedy experience.
A Monday Night Made for Laughter
Monday is often associated with getting back to work, catching up on responsibilities, and preparing for the week ahead. “Already Clocked Out” offers a different way to spend the evening.
Instead of staying home after work, guests can head to Blue Oak Brewing Company, grab a beer, settle in, and enjoy a lineup of local comedians who are ready to put their newest material to the test.
The event is produced by Peninsula Comedy, an organization currently producing nine different comedy shows throughout San Mateo County. Its commitment to supporting local comedians has helped create opportunities for performers to develop their craft and connect with audiences across the Peninsula.
For comedy fans, this showcase provides a chance to discover performers who could become the next big names on the local comedy circuit.
Meet the Next Generation of Comedians
The New Talent Showcase is different from a traditional stand-up comedy show. Rather than featuring only established performers, the event brings together comedians at different levels of experience who are auditioning for opportunities to perform on professional shows.
That means every performance comes with an element of discovery. Some comedians may be relatively new to the stage, while others may already have considerable experience and are looking for their next opportunity.
The performers will have the chance to demonstrate their comedic style, timing, storytelling, and ability to connect with a live audience.
At the end of the night, the top performers will be given a spot on an upcoming professional show. For the comedians, it is an important opportunity to advance their careers. For audience members, it is a chance to see talented performers before they move on to bigger stages.
Beer, Comedy, and a Relaxed Atmosphere
Located in San Carlos, Blue Oak Brewing Company provides the setting for this entertaining Monday night event.
Guests can enjoy the brewery atmosphere while watching local comedians perform. Pairing live stand-up comedy with craft beer creates a casual environment that makes the event a great option for friends, coworkers, or anyone looking for something different to do on a Monday evening.
Whether you are already a dedicated fan of stand-up comedy or simply curious about discovering new local talent, “Already Clocked Out” offers an opportunity to enjoy an evening filled with humor and community.
And because the event is limited to guests 18 and older, attendees can enjoy a night geared toward an adult audience.
Supporting Peninsula’s Comedy Community
Local comedy scenes thrive when performers have places where they can experiment, develop material, and perform in front of real audiences.
New talent showcases play an important role in that process. They give comedians an opportunity to gain stage experience while allowing audiences to discover different comedic voices.
Peninsula Comedy’s work across San Mateo County provides performers with additional opportunities to develop their skills and connect with people who appreciate live comedy.
For audience members, attending a showcase can also be more exciting than watching a predictable lineup of familiar performers. Every comedian brings a different perspective, personality, and style to the stage, creating a night that can be full of surprises.
