Shuffle, deal, and connect across generations. This month, the Generation Buddies program brings back its special intergenerational evening with a twist—an entire night of card games. Older adults and youth gather in the Chestnut Room at ACC for an affordable and fun activity, followed by a shared meal and meaningful conversation. At just $5, it’s one of the most welcoming, low‑cost ways to bond with neighbors of all ages.

About Generation Buddies
Generation Buddies is a collaboration between ACC and the Youth Advisory Council, created to build bridges between younger and older community members. Each month, the group hosts a themed activity that is equal parts fun and connective. Participants have enjoyed craft nights, cooking projects, and now—games that spark both strategy and laughter.

From classics like Go Fish and Rummy to strategy favorites like Uno and Crazy Eights, this event is designed for all skill levels. Volunteers will be on hand to explain rules, keep things friendly, and help new players join in. The goal isn’t to crown a champion—it’s to enjoy play across generations and discover common ground through simple decks of cards.
