Exhibition Dates and Gallery Hours
The exhibition will continue to be on display from December 16th, 2024, until March 7th, 2025. During this time, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to visit and take in the collection. Our space is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (appointments preferred), and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (by appointment only). About Carole Fulmer
Carole Fulmer’s artistic journey began in New York State, where a neighbor’s encouragement to take up painting at a young age sparked what would become an enduring passion. Her natural talent quickly evolved into a lifelong commitment to the arts, and she began experimenting with various media. Her move to the Bay Area in the 1960s opened new doors for her creativity, and she pursued formal art education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California.
Carole’s artistic voice is strongly influenced by the impressionist movement and the early modernists, with a deep emphasis on capturing mood and atmosphere. Her works often feature subjects such as animals, people, and the beauty of nature, and she strives to communicate an emotional resonance through the use of muted and transparent colors. These softer hues allow the viewer to immerse themselves in the ambiance of each piece, creating a contemplative experience that leaves room for interpretation.
One of Carole’s greatest strengths as an artist is her ability to evoke feelings without being overly prescriptive.
