Festive Annual Educator Night 2024 At the Reading Bug

September 26 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Us for the Annual Educator Night 2024 at The Reading Bug!

Calling all teachers and librarians! Our Annual Educator Night is back on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 6:30 PM, and it’s the event of the year dedicated to celebrating you—our favorite educators from Bay Area schools! This evening is packed with fun, great conversations, and plenty of inspiration to take back to your classrooms and libraries. This year, we welcome Suzanne Lang as guest author for the event.

What to Expect

  • Wine & Cheese Reception: Unwind and connect with fellow educators over a glass of wine and delicious cheese.
  • Book Talks: Discover the latest books perfect for your students and libraries, along with recommendations for classroom use.
  • Giveaways & Raffle Prizes: Win exciting prizes and take home goodies just for attending.
  • Special Guest Author: We’re thrilled to welcome Suzanne Lang, creator of the beloved Grumpy Monkey series! Hear from Suzanne about her work and how her books can engage young readers.

This event is FREE for educators and select PTA members involved in purchasing books for schools or coordinating author visits. While tickets are free, a donation to The Reading Bug is welcome to help offset event costs.

RSVP today to secure your spot at this exciting event! Educators can purchase their free tickets through the link below. PTA members should email contact@thereadingbug.com before reserving a ticket.

Not an educator but want to get in on the fun? You can still support by purchasing author-signed copies of Grumpy Monkey, which will be ready for pick-up after the event.
