Spring is in the air, and that means it’s time for one of the most beloved family traditions in town—the 88th San Carlos Lions Easter Egg Hunt! Families from near and far are invited to hop into the fun, celebrate the season, and create joyful memories at this cherished annual event. Hosted by the dedicated volunteers of the San Carlos Lions Club, this year’s celebration promises laughter, excitement, and plenty of sweet surprises for children ages 3 to 8.
A Timeless Community Tradition
For 88 incredible years, the San Carlos Lions have proudly brought the community together for a festive Easter gathering filled with color, cheer, and connection. Generations of families have grown up racing across the grass in search of brightly colored eggs, and this year continues that heartwarming legacy. The 88th Annual Easter Egg Hunt is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of community spirit and childhood wonder.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 4th, and get ready for a morning packed with fun at beautiful Burton Park. Located at 900 Chestnut Street, San Carlos, United States, the park provides the perfect setting for little egg hunters to explore and enjoy the fresh spring air.
This is a FREE EVENT for children ages 3–8 years old. While admission is free, registration is encouraged through Eventbrite to help organizers plan for the best experience possible. Please reserve one ticket per child.
Age-Specific Hunt Schedule
To ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all participants, egg hunts are divided by age group:
- 🐇 12:30 PM – 3/4 year-olds
- 🐇 12:50 PM – 5/6 year-olds
- 🐇 1:10 PM – 7/8 year-olds
Each group will have its own designated time to dash, discover, and delight in finding hidden treasures scattered throughout the park. Parents are encouraged to arrive early to check in, settle in comfortably, and be ready for their child’s scheduled start time.
Hop in for Sweet Treats and Smiles
“Hop in to snag some sweet treats and take a picture with the Easter Bunny!” That’s the spirit of the day. Children will have the chance to collect colorful eggs filled with goodies and surprises. The thrill of the hunt, combined with the joy of gathering treats, makes this event a highlight of the season for young participants.
One of the most magical moments of the day is meeting the Easter Bunny in person. Families are warmly invited to come and meet the Easter Bunny, snap adorable photos, and capture memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t forget your camera—these are the moments you’ll want to treasure and share.
