Eucalyptus Avenue in San Carlos CA
If you’ve lived in San Carlos California for any period of time, then you know that Eucalyptus Ave in San Carlos CA is the place to go to view Christmas lights and decorations and 2022 did not disappoint.
The PG&E transformers have been working extra hard to make sure that San Carlos CA could be seen from space. There were all kinds of decorations, thousands of lights of various colors and sizes plus a multitude of themes to be viewed.
Whether you’re a Hello Kittie fan or Star Wars, they had you covered. We visited Eucalyptus Ave on a Wednesday night and as soon as the sunset, tons of families came out to walk the street while a caravan of onlookers slowly gawked at all the lights from inside their warm vehicles.
We even saw a family of snowmen… or it is snowpeople? Whatever, it was all there including several Santas and life size Nutcrackers, which scare the heck out of me.

So, a couple more comments. First, a great shoutout to the residents of Eucalyptus Ave, San Carlos CA for purchasing all the decorations, storing them all year round, then putting it all up and paying the electricity bill all for our viewing pleasure… Thank You!
Second, as a realtor I must admit that I think I’d have to demand any home buyer in the neighborhood had to sign a contract stating that they would commit to going way overboard on holiday decorations or they were just not Eucalyptus Ave worthy and we’d have to find them another home for sale in San Carlos in a different neighborhood.
