Hosted by Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and community partners\, this special in-person event invites people of all ages to experience powerful short films that celebrate diverse voices and experiences in the outdoors. \nTaking place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.\, the fourth annual Representation Matters Film Festival offers an opportunity to enjoy compelling stories while connecting with neighbors\, local organizations\, and fellow community members. Best of all\, advance registration is required\, but attendance is free. \nAn Evening of Inspiring Outdoor Stories\nThe Representation Matters Film Festival is designed to highlight voices and perspectives that demonstrate how people from different backgrounds experience\, connect with\, and care for the outdoors. \nThis year’s film selections come from the Wild & Scenic Film Festival\, one of the nation’s leading environmental and adventure film festivals. The featured stories explore a variety of important and inspiring themes\, including recreation\, activism\, community\, Indigenous culture\, belonging\, and more. \nRather than simply watching a collection of films\, attendees can expect an evening that encourages conversation\, connection\, and a deeper appreciation for the many ways people interact with the natural world. \nEnjoy the Films Under the Evening Sky\nThe in-person festival will feature an outdoor screening at Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company\, creating a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying these remarkable stories with family and friends. \nBecause the event will take place outdoors\, guests are encouraged to dress in layers and prepare for changing evening temperatures.
