We’re paying tribute to one of the most “fowl”-proof TV moments of all time—the legendary 1978 WKRP in Cincinnati “Turkeys Away” episode—with a Thanksgiving twist sure to have you gobbling with laughter. \n  \n \n\nWhat’s the Turkey Toss?\nIn the words of WKRP’s Arthur Carlson\, “As God is my witness\, I thought turkeys could fly!” But don’t worry—we’ll be dropping squeezable\, soft turkey toys from a helicopter\, so you and your family can enjoy a drop that’s all fun\, no feathers! These toy turkeys are ready to take the plunge (not the plumage) as a lighthearted nod to the iconic sitcom episode. Kids will get to collect these mini turkeys as keepsakes to take home. \n  \n \n  \nAnd the Turkey Toss joins a beak tradition of fun-filled holiday events at the Hiller Aviation Museum. After all\, we’ve been known to drop pumpkins from a witch’s helicopter on Halloween\, parachute a skydiving leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day\, and even fly in Santa by chopper! This Thanksgiving-themed event is sure to be another plucking good time for the whole family. \nThe Turkey Hunt: A Flight to Remember\nThe Turkey Toss isn’t the only thing that will have you craning your neck! All day long\, families can participate in the great Turkey Hunt inside the museum.
