DESCRIPTION:“Time Weaving: The Art of Healing” Is An Exhibition of Resilience and Hope\nThis November\, Art Bias is proud to present “Time Weaving: The Art of Healing\,” an impactful art exhibition in partnership with CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse). This exhibition\, running from November 1 through December 2 at Art Bias\, Studio 114\, located at 1700 Industrial Road in San Carlos\, offers a profound glimpse into the journey of healing for survivors of domestic violence. \nAbout the Exhibition\n“Time Weaving: The Art of Healing” showcases artwork created by individuals who have endured and survived domestic violence. Through their art\, these survivors express the complex\, often non-linear path of healing from trauma. Each piece serves as a testament to resilience\, illustrating how art-making can be a powerful tool to process pain\, reconnect with the present\, and envision a hopeful future. This exhibition invites visitors to bear witness to these courageous stories\, offering a space for empathy\, reflection\, and understanding. \nOpening Reception and Community Healing Altar\nJoin us for an opening reception on Friday\, November 1\, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This evening will be a time of community connection\, featuring a special healing altar where guests are encouraged to bring their own offerings—such as flowers\, written notes\, or small tokens—to honor survivors’ journeys and contribute to a shared space of healing. This communal altar will serve as a symbol of collective support\, a visual reminder that healing is possible with community by our side. Refreshments will be provided. \nWhy This Exhibition Matters\nDomestic violence affects countless individuals and families\, yet the healing journey remains deeply personal and unique. Art Bias and CORA’s collaboration on this exhibition aims to raise awareness of these experiences while honoring the resilience of survivors. By providing a platform for their voices and stories\, Time Weaving hopes to foster a deeper understanding of the transformative power of art in overcoming trauma. \nAbout CORA\nCORA\, or Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse\, is dedicated to providing support and resources for survivors of domestic violence. CORA offers a range of services\, from emergency assistance to counseling\, all geared towards helping survivors rebuild their lives.
