DESCRIPTION:Grainbakers Spent Grain Pretzel Making Class\nDevil’s Canyon in San Carlos offers a hands-on pretzel making class where you’ll master the art of creating homemade pretzels! Kick off the evening with a guided tour of the Devil’s Canyon Brewhouse\, where you’ll get a glimpse into our brewery’s history and discover how spent grain plays a role in the brewing process. Then\, under the expert instruction of the Grainbakers team\, you’ll learn to twist your spent grain dough into perfect pretzels and set them to rise. By the end of the class\, you’ll have your very own pretzel dough to take home\, ready for boiling and baking. Plus\, you’ll receive ingredients and instructions to whip up spicy whole-grain beer mustard and a gooey\, cheezy cheddar dipping sauce! \nGrainbaker’s Pretzel-Making Class is ideal for all skill levels and a fun way to bring the brewery experience right to your kitchen! \n \nAbout this Grainbakers Class\n\n\nEach ticket holder will learn the following in class: \n\nHow to make spent grain pretzels\nHow to make whole-grain beer mustard\nHow to make hot cheddar cheese pub dip for your pretzels\n\nIn class\, each ticket holder will make spent grain dough for pretzels and practice twisting four pretzels to go home to boil and bake. \nIn class\, each ticket holder will go on a behind-the-scenes tour with the brewery owners. \nEach ticket holder will leave class with the following: \n\nA full container of ingredients\, recipe and additional instructions to make the whole grain beer mustard at home at their leisure\nA full container of ingredients\, recipe and additional instructions on making the hot cheddar cheese pub dip at their leisure.\nRecipe and dough for making 12 more pretzels at home!\n\nVIP / FAQ: \n\nClass is 6 PM – 8:00 PM (approximately)\nYou will boil and bake your pretzels at home\, but a demo will be provided during class. You will make your dough and twist some of your pretzels in class. You will leave with those pretzels in their first rise and\, depending on your schedule\, continue your project at home or later over the weekend.\nAll participants must be 18.\nAll participants must have a ticket. This is not a one-ticket-per-couple experience due to space limitations.\n\nItinerary: \n\n5:40 PM Check-in\, sign-up\, sampling – NOM\, NOM\, NOM!\nYou can check in as early as 5:40 PM.
