Led by acclaimed artist Aina Clotas\, this two-day intensive workshop will guide participants through the fundamentals of portrait painting from a live model. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with oil paints\, this workshop is designed to help you elevate your technique. \nWorkshop Details\n📅 Dates: \n\nSaturday\, March 1\, 2025: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM\nSunday\, March 2\, 2025: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n⏳ Total Hours: 9 hours (includes a one-hour lunch break on Saturday)\n📍 Venue: Art Bias – 1700 Industrial Road\, San Carlos\, CA\n🎨 Class Size: 5 – 10 students\n💰 Fee: $285 (includes model fees)\n\nWhat You’ll Learn\n🔹 Day 1: Understanding head structure\, light and form\, and establishing big areas of color.\n🔹 Day 2: Refining details\, rendering form\, and applying final touches. \nAina will provide live demonstrations\, paint alongside participants\, and offer individualized feedback throughout the workshop. \n  \n \n\nMeet the Instructor: Aina Clotas\nAina Clotas is a renowned figurative oil painter from Catalonia\, Spain. She holds a BFA from Universitat de Barcelona and trained at the Barcelona Academy of Art\, where she later became an instructor. She has taught at the Florence Academy of Art in Sweden and currently teaches at College of San Mateo. Aina’s work is inspired by 19th-century atelier methods and cinematic language\, and she has exhibited internationally in Spain\, the U.S.\, Portugal\, Canada\, and Estonia.
