SUMMARY:Release Through Movement at Art Bias: A Journey to Mind–Body Connection
DESCRIPTION:Release Through Movement at Art Bias: A Journey to Mind–Body Connection\nDiscover the transformative power of movement and expression at Release Through Movement at Art Bias\, a unique dance/movement therapy workshop that invites you to reconnect with your body\, release emotions\, and explore your inner world through the art of movement. \nAbout This Event\nThis inspiring workshop is designed to help participants discover how dance and movement can become tools for emotional release and self-awareness. Guided by Nathaniel Silveira-Pyzik\, a board-certified dance/movement therapist and licensed counselor\, the session offers a supportive space for anyone looking to reconnect with their body and explore how physical movement can promote healing and growth. \nThroughout the session\, Nathaniel will guide participants through a gentle movement warm-up to help them tune in to their bodies and access inner movement resources for energy modulation and self-exploration. Using expressive dance and mindful motion\, he will demonstrate how even the simplest movements can help individuals express emotions\, relieve stress\, and discover new ways of understanding themselves. \nThe workshop encourages exploration through music\, guided imagery\, and movement prompts\, all designed to foster creativity\, reflection\, and release. Near the end of the class\, participants will be given time for quiet reflection—a moment to process and absorb the experience. Reflection is completely optional\, allowing each person to engage at their own comfort level. \n \nNo Experience Needed—Just an Open Mind\nOne of the most welcoming aspects of Release Through Movement is that no prior dance or movement experience is required. Participants are encouraged to move in ways that feel natural to them—there’s no right or wrong way to express yourself. Every activity can be adapted for individuals with physical impairments or disabilities\, ensuring inclusivity for all who attend. \nPersonal disclosure is never expected\, and while self-reflection is encouraged\, it is not required. The goal of the workshop is to create a safe\, supportive environment where everyone can engage at their own pace. \nMore Than Just Movement\nWhile this class is educational and immersive\, it is not a substitute for therapy. However\, many participants find the experience deeply restorative. The benefits often include stress relief\, improved mind–body awareness\, and greater ease in navigating emotions\, daily activities\, and life transitions. \nThis workshop is an opportunity to step away from the rush of everyday life and return to the simplicity of moving\, breathing\, and feeling present. Through movement\, you may find new ways to understand yourself and release what no longer serves you. \nAbout the Facilitator\nNathaniel Silveira-Pyzik\, LPCC\, BC-DMT\, brings a wealth of experience and compassion to his work. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist\, he supports adults\, teens\, and couples through various mental health and relational challenges. \nBased in San Carlos\, California\, Nathaniel has presented and led workshops on the transformative power of dance/movement therapy for mental health\, trauma healing\, and nervous system regulation. In 2022\, he facilitated Move & Release\, a six-week class at the Yoga Health Center in partnership with Ziru Dance Company and One Life Counseling Center. A proud member of the American Dance Therapy Association\, Nathaniel integrates clinical expertise with creative\, body-based approaches that empower people to heal and grow through movement. \nEvent Details\n📅 Date & Time: Friday\, November 14\, 2025 | 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM (GMT-08:00)📍 Location: Art Bias\, Studio 114\, 1700 Industrial Road\, San Carlos\, CA \nJoin this enriching evening of movement\, mindfulness\, and creative exploration.
