This special volunteer event offers two wonderful opportunities to help beautify local parks\, strengthen connections among neighbors\, and create a lasting positive impact on the community. \nWhether you have a green thumb\, enjoy spending time outdoors\, or simply want to give back to the place you call home\, Day of Service is a perfect opportunity to get involved. Volunteers will be able to choose between two projects: planting two new trees at Highlands Park or creating a native garden at Vista Park. Both projects are designed to enhance the natural beauty of San Carlos while contributing to healthier and more welcoming public spaces. \nPlant New Trees at Highlands Park\nOne of the volunteer opportunities will take place at Highlands Park\, where participants will help plant two new trees. Trees are an important part of any community. They provide shade\, improve the appearance of public spaces\, support local wildlife\, and contribute to a healthier environment. \nPlanting a tree may seem like a simple task\, but its impact can last for decades. The trees planted during Day of Service will become part of the landscape and can be enjoyed by residents\, families\, and visitors for years to come.
